Celebrating 20 Years of Helping Practices Thrive!
Letter from Our CEO…
As we celebrate our 20 year anniversary on May 5, 2025, we are introspectively reflecting about our company vision, rebranding and ways to improve communications with our people including clients, potential clients, partners and employees.
Welcome to our new Newsletter, Edition 1.
I want personally thank the people who helped us grow to the exceptional Revenue Cycle and Practice Management Company we are today. You are the heartbeat of our organization and the reason I started this company 20 years ago.
For many of you, our brand Manna Health Professionals, is what you’ve known along, and for others who may have come by our website, you may recognize Medical Practice Consulting Services as a name associated with our brand. Either way, Manna Health is who we are…
Manna, our very name means Provision….for you our clients, for the behavioral health communities you serve and for our staff. As we move into the next 20, I am still as excited as I was at Day 1. I am grateful we are able to impact our world by supporting our providers operate successfully as they serve their patients. This is and always will be our mission statement and our reason.
In service and in gratitude,
Debbie Henderson
CEO & Lead Practice Management Consultant

May is Mental Health Awareness Month
At Manna Health Professionals, we know that behind every exceptional behavioral health practice is a provider who cares deeply—not just for their clients, but for the mission of mental wellness as a whole.
This month, we’re honoring Mental Health Awareness Month by recognizing the vital work that you, our partners, do every day. Whether you’re supporting individuals through trauma, guiding families toward healing, or leading with compassion in your community—you’re helping break the stigma and raise the standard.
We’re proud to support you with the executive insight, operational structure, and strategic growth tools you need to build a thriving practice rooted in both clinical excellence and human connection.
Let’s keep moving this mission forward—together.
Center Stage Practice:
Jodi Province Counseling Services
This month, we want to recognize Jodi Province Counseling Services, a long-time partner and an unwavering force in North Carolina’s mental health landscape. Jodi began working with us even before opening her doors in November 2008, and her commitment to healing has only grown stronger since.
Serving multiple counties across the state, her practice specializes in working with children and families—particularly those who have experienced deep trauma. Jodi’s tenacity in securing critical contracts to serve the most vulnerable speaks volumes about the heart behind her mission.
It’s been our absolute privilege to support the backend of her business, so her team can stay focused on what they do best: helping children and families heal.
Meet…
Candice Hunt
This month’s spotlight is on Candice. If you work with her now, you just know. Candice is a practice’s dream and such an important part of our leadership team here at Manna. Her depth of knowledge and ability to problem solve continue to help us grow as a company and enhance the services we offer to our clients. Her commitment shines every day in all she does.
We thank you Candice and appreciate all you do to help us stand out in our industry. Yay YOU!
Practice Insights & Tips
What are best practices when partnering with your RCM company?
The key word here is “Partner”.
Building a truly cohesive relationship where we work together helps to accomplish the very best outcome for your practice. This happens through intentional communication through daily conversations using phone, email and chat, weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews via online meetings and timely review of production/aging reporting. Conversations on how to improve work flow and overhead costs play a role in strengthening practice profitability, growth and longevity. All of this contributes to a synchronized dance that helps each practice excel.
It truly does take a strong working partnership where trust is built day by day as we resolve issues and find solutions. When you know your RCM partner has your back, you can focus on your practice growth and provide excellent patient care.
Goals Realized!!!
Fun Facts!
If you didn’t know now, let me tell you we are a family business through and through. Joshua, our Credentialing Director aka Debbie’s son married Kristin aka Debbie’s daughter-in-law is spelled exactly the same as his sister Kristin aka Debbie’s daughter.
Working together we found out quickly we needed to be able to identify each Kristin so we came up with JKristin for Joshua’s wife and plain Kristin for his sister….Years later it works in our family and business.
Thanks Joshua for keeping things interesting!
